Originally from Berlin, Jess de Wahls  is now a bona fide lynch pin of the international textile arts scene.

She creates hand-sewn portraits from recycled clothes and colourful embroideries,

using figures and flowers to tackle issues from gender inequality to waste culture.

Sex And The Sick Girl - Meet Devon Banfield, a force to be reckoned with!

Devon Banfield is a journalist, speaker, women’s health advocate and writer based in Toronto, Canada. Her work centres around raising awareness of the gynaecological condition endometriosis, a chronic pain and infertility condition that effects 1 in 10 women. She is currently working on a book that explores the experiences of 153 people around the world that suffer with the disease, in order to educate the public and share stories that have yet to be shared.

I have met Devon and am in total awe of her energy drive and agency, so i decided that £5 of each #ENDOVARIES patch will go towards supporting her work, educating the world about Endometriosis.

You can also support Devon via Patreon as well as directly via paypal, because all important work needs space and finances to thrive, and i personally believe that this is one hell of a worthy cause to support.
