Exhibition pre-sale information
Any artwork purchased in its basic design form before being stitched is offered at a 20% discount. The discount will no longer be available once the piece is finished.
To make my art as accessible as possible, I have decided to also offer a payment plan, if required, to allow artwork to be purchased in instalments.
Here’s how it works:
Financing, or payment plans, are similar to layaway.
Select the artwork you wish to finance and email me at hi@jessdewahls.com. There is also an “Inquire” button on the website page for each individual piece.
Once a payment schedule has been agreed, the artwork will be removed from sale and I will send you an invoice for the first instalment.
A 25% instalment of the total cost of the artwork must be paid up front. This reserves the artwork for you and takes it off the market.
Pay monthly for the next 12,24 or 36 months by debit, credit card or Paypal.
The payment plan is INTEREST FREE.
As all pieces will be exhibited at my forthcoming exhibition, even fully paid for pieces will only be shipped once the exhibit is concluded.
The artwork will not be shipped to the buyer until the agreed price has been paid for in full.
UK shipping is complimentary. World-wide shipping will be half payed by the seller (me) and the purchaser (you).
Any import fees and taxes must be payed by the customer.
FLEXIBILITY IS POSSIBLE BUT COMMUNICATION IS VITAL
A payment plan is a binding contract, but it can be flexible.
Naturally, situations may arise that may change your ability to pay.
Payment plans can be extended by a maximum of 5 additional months if necessary.
Conversely, if you wish to reduce the time period of your plan and pay off the full sum sooner, this too can be arranged.
CANCELLATION
If you have initiated a payment plan and for any reason, after having made one or more payments, wish to cancel further payments and receive a refund on payments already made, you may do so under the following conditions:
You must notify me immediately so the artwork can be put back on the market.
You will forfeit the first 25% instalment paid of the total price of the artwork as service fee and compensation for having kept the art off the market for that period of time.
NONPAYMENT AND FAILURE TO COMMUNICATE
If you can’t make a payment as per the agreed schedule, please get in touch as soon as possible.
If I receive no payment or communication for 30 consecutive days, you will be in default and the payment plan will be terminated.
The reserved piece will go back on the market and you will forfeit ANY payments you have already made.
Again, COMMUNICATION IS VITAL. If no payments or communications have occurred for 30 consecutive days after a failed payment, the piece will not be yours and no refunds will be given.
